The breakfast was amazing, the traditional food was delicious with various food choices, the restaurant seating was excellent with the great view. The hotel room was big with excited light ambient, bathroom size was excellent. Swimmingpool and Gym was amazing

Room was big with small balcony, very clean and very comfortable bed, and could see Mt. Slamet volcano on clear day. Swimming pool was very good and clean with nice little shady bar. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Also the manager Hilman was very nice and chatty and gave good helpful information and advice. I would go back and stay again.

The room we had needed renovation. Room service was very slow. Food at breakfast did not vary. Outside area of the restuarant had lots of smokers, and if it rained many insects would appear.

Java heritage hotel is oasis... from the moment you arrive at the address and realising this is the hotel you have chosen from photos and reviews, you relax and relax as the whole experience continue to impress... it is calm, calming, romantic and well managed.. the next night we move along to different city and straight away the same-ness of hotels in this class come back to haunt you again and your thoughts and heart go back to the Java heritage hotel Purwokerto... very good job boys.

Not much... just add they got a good gym.

Despite of high cost room per night, it was worthy. Despite of spooky look from the outside garden of the heritage, it has good view from breakfast venue, comfy and cool room with balcony .. i love every single space of this hotel.

couldn't stay longer

The Java Heritage is a gem of a hotel. The staff are wonderful and could not do enough to help with any of our needs. The general manager even arranged the hotel car to take us to see our son teaching at the local school. It has a fabulous pool and rooftop bar and restaurant that serves great food. The drinks are a little expensive in relation to the stay but the overall value is AMAZING! We can’t wait for our next visit. Thank you Java Heritage for making us feel so welcome.

Clean and well-equipped rooms (main building!!!) in the city center.

During check-in the front desk claimed that booking.com forwarded wrong information about the room to the hotel and that we would have rooms in the nearby „cottages“ but not in the main building. She claimed that the rooms would have exactly the same standard as the ones in the main building. This was an outrageous lie. The cottage room was awful. After we insisted once more and showed our booking confirmation, rooms where suddenly available. The attempt to send us in sub-sub-standard rooms seemed to be intentionally.

The hotel is very clean, and located in the center of the city.

The front office staff shouldn't bothering guests by calling every occupied room just to remind about check out time.

Comfortable, big hotel, with lots of space everywhere. Corridors are wide, rooms are huge, plenty of space for everything. Modern style interior. Nice pool in the garden, well-equipped gym. Excellent value for the low price they charge for this 4* service.

The building isn't exactly easy on the eye. Classic, ugly 60's style grey block

Their train station pickup was very handy and helpfull. Also the checkin process although they can't find my booking.com booking ID but they let us to rest first and finish the payment at the next day. The room and bathroom is neat and clean..

The booking.com price is higher than direct show price. But it's okay since I don't have time to make a call. The reception girl was make mistake when booking my train station pickup but the other guy in the different shift was very helpfull. And the last, I can't find any room sandal.

The hotel is really lovely from the architecture to interior. The bedroom is huge. The swimming pool is nicely design, come with good bar too. Restaurant is tropical modern design, love the interior and the beautiful Mount Slamet view is just wow. However Staff not attentive enough though, food is okay & WiFi sucks need to improve on those otherwise best hotel. Very lovely stay to me

Unfortunately the food at this hotel ruined my trip through Indonesia. I’ve been travelling around Asia for about 5 months now, eaten all kinds of street food and have not gotten I’ll once. My friend and I thought we’d treat ourselves to a “nice” hotel and after arriving late after a long train journey we decided to have one of their signature burgers in their restaurant. We both ended up being severely ill and spent 4 days in bed. It’s a shame as the facilities looked great. We had told them what had happened a couple of times and they were fully aware, but to rub salt in the wounds they were insistent that they were charging for the burgers, putting the cost of two burgers before our health. Once we were well enough to check out and move to another hotel, the staff just chuckled every time we complained. I don’t like giving bad reviews but the way they treated us and handled the situation was appalling. I’m sure the hotel is a nice place to stay, just don’t touch the food!
